Game On: Inaugural Pro Stock Hockey-USA Warriors Game Day Announced
Posted by Pro Stock Hockey on 03 18 2015
It figures to be epic.
Two teams — Pro Stock Hockey and USA Warriors — take the ice March 27 in their first-ever charity matchup. Hosted by Johnny’s IceHouse West (2550 W. Madison St.), official practice facility of the Chicago Blackhawks, donations will help fund the mission of the USA Warriors Ice Hockey Program.
USA Warriors, in conjunction with the USA Hockey Disabled Hockey Program, is a charitable organization serving those wounded in service. The program’s mission provides a recreational, educational and therapeutic experience. It encourages individuals with physical disabilities to participate at a level adapted to their ability.
Be There
Pro Stock Hockey takes its ongoing support of USA Warriors to another level when the puck drops at 11:30 a.m. The Warriors are primed and ready, applying their military rules of discipline, teamwork and dedication to the sport of hockey, making them fearsome foes on ice — and some of the best people you'll ever meet off ice. The Pro Stock Hockey team, which shares a passion for competition, is training hard to present the kind of challenge the Warriors deserve.
Team Effort
Not only is Pro Stock Hockey proud to support the mission of USA Warriors, but other sponsors have jumped on board for this contest as well. Renfrew™ is generously donating hockey tape to players on both teams, while FGS, Inc. is providing gift bags to all members of both teams. Just as it takes the combined skills of forwards, defensemen and goaltenders to build a successful hockey team, it's the collaborative effort of Pro Stock Hockey, USA Warriors and other generous partners that makes this game possible.
On March 27, join us in supporting the unique mission of USA Warriors. Come to Johnny's IceHouse West, watch some great hockey and donate to a good cause in the inaugural Pro Stock Hockey-USA Warriors charity game. See you there!
